Summary: From the moment we set foot inside, my partner and I were completely delighted with this quiet, charming cottage. It was the perfect home base for our stay. The shops of Franktown are a quick 5-minute drive. Alternatively, If you prefer a stroll through epic scenery, you can walk along the Queenstown trail. Queenstown and Arrowtown are both within a 15-minute drive.The cottage itself is quaint and charming, but with all the modern amenities, including a well-appointed kitchen, strong, reliable wi-fi and a lovely, large shower in the bathroom.The property is at the end of the cul-de-sac in a quiet, hillside neighbourhood. We slept *very*well at night. There is a beautiful wisteria-covered patio out front and beautiful gardens on the property.Jan, the owner, was a consummate host. He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, shared invaluable tips on things to do in the area, and even drove us into Queenstown to catch an early bus to Milford Sound.Vicky made sure the cottage was spotless on our arrival, and even did a mid-week clean during our 10-day stay.This is a true gem! My partner and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
